Two or so weeks ago, I escaped the bitter bite of British Autumn and boarded a plane to sunny LA to visit the America Boy. Although he lives in the (much nicer) city of Santa Barbara we decided to spend a few days taking in the sights that the City of Angels had to offer.
After my incessant pleas of 'please take me to the Hollywood sign, please, please, please' we finally found a hike where we managed to get preeeeetty close to those famous letters. In reality, the sign is guarded more fiercely than the Crown Jewels and it is impossible to get within touching distance, so I think we did a fairly decent job!
